I couldn't make out most of his rambling erratic interview last night, all I heard was he wants no part of Loma.
What do U think?
Didn't see it, but I had Lopez beating Loma 116-112 and that score doesn't warrant a rematch imo. It wasnt close and rematches should be for close fights. I don't buy the Loma injury fiasco.
I understand Teo having a personal grudge against Loma for the no rematch clause in the first fight and fights with Haney and Garcia and the like are very compelling as well so if he makes those fights good on him. I do think that personal grudges that eliminate a possible great fight only hurt boxing fans. I think of all the great rematches and I think Loma vs Teo would be better the second time. Hopefully Loma earns a mandatory defense and Teo will honor that.
I mean you can't duck someone you fought and dominated .I had TEO winning the 1st fight and it was not close , the fight does not really warrant a rematch and it did not have a rematch clause because Loma did not want it .I will say I would not mind seeing a second fight because Loma looked phenomenal his last fight , but TEO does not owe him sh^t ...
I didn't see the Interview. However , so long as he was calling out Haney ,Davis or Garcia I'm cool with that. He doesn't need to fight LOMA he has nothing to prove. He stands to gain more fighting Haney or Davis. If Loma won and Teo was asking for a rematch we will all be saying fu*ck off he has had his chance. Let TEO chase the undisputed or go for the cash cow in the weight class, Davis
Davis wants that fight. Arum and Floyd need to figure it out soon. Not interested at all in a Loma rematch. First fight was boring for the most part. I'm in for Davis-Loma fight tho.

I can see 116-112, but that isn't really that lopsided, and I think a rematch is what is needed. A true champ will defend his title against all comers rather than run off to the next weight division, unless making weight is an issue. If he was so dominant and it wasn't close then why would he not take the rematch, prove his dominance, make that $$$ on what could be the biggest fight of the year, and give the fans the epic bout they want.
Sure Teo doesn't owe Loma a rematch, but he is a pussy for not taking it. We all know it would be huge money for him. If he really thinks Loma was easy work why wouldn't he take the biggest payday of his career... Because he's a pussy that knows he'll lose.
Teofimo said he'd fight Taylor at a catchweight. Really? For all the belts? I've never heard of all the belts being available at a catchweight. He sounds like he doesn't know what he's talking about anymore. He's just rambling because he knows he'll do anything but put himself in a position to lose those belts he has. Now that the kid has something to lose, he's got the fear. That's why he'll bend over backward to avoid Loma or a fight where he could lose his belts.
