Is Teofimo Lopez running from Lopez v Loma II the biggest duck in boxing history?

Does Lopez owe Loma a rematch? No, not contractually and Loma is a moron for not having it in the contract. Should Lopez give Loma a rematch? Absolutely.

I am amazed that anyone here thinks that Lopez actually won, versus Loma just didn't bother showing up for the first half of the fight. Lopez knows this and why he wants to avoid it at all costs and would rather fight garbage cans.

The MOST money Lopez can make is in a rematch with Loma... that would actually be a REALLY big fight.

Punk azz move if Teo doesn't give Loma a well deserved rematch.

        Do your own research bro.
Its common knowledge Teo sr goaded Loma for a no rematch clause cause imo the fight was fixed with one judge be4 it even begun.
Loma didnt help though bu just making Teo look silly in the first 6 rounds.

Wait. What are you saying? Yeah, that's partly true. But there was never a rematch clause to begin with because Arum never sent a contract over with one. And you are right, Teofimo Sr. did talk a bunch of ****, which led Lomachenko to not try to have a rematch clause inserted. But it didn't help that Arum was saying that he doesn't do rematch clauses and for Loma to try later on with Lopez. That's what Arum was saying, so I don't blame Loma too much.

It cant be, purely for the fact that they fought once already. Ducking someone altogether because you cant face being in the ring with them even one time is worse.

Everything is the money. Fans don’t really talk about splits for what is presented to them. Lopez beat Loma. He’s going to feel A-side. The Lopez will fight Loma again for a certain minimum.

No. He clearly won the first fight. It's ****** for him not to take it though. It's the biggest fight he can take and at least 4-5 guys in the top ten have a good chance of beating him before he gets a payday that size again. I think he believes he caught Lomachenko on an off night and can't do it again.

Like he owes Loma anything. Loma talked all that smacked then wouldn't let his hands go for much of that fight but tries to claim he was robbed lol. Loma never prioritized rematching the guy he lost to and walked away with an L, but Teo is obligated to rematch guys he beat?

Lopez must rematch Loma or fight Davis. Nobody cares about him fighting some dude nobody ever heard bout.

What else can he do, move up and get destroyed by Taylor?

                      Well, I'm just not sure.

Teo has outright said "NO LOMA!" and has repeatedly not wanted the rematch... BUT...Teo did already beat Loma, so technically he's already good.

Meanwhile, Crawford went on DAZN and openly ducked Shawn Porter. A year later, Porter reached out and said he was available and Crawford told him to "stand by because you're testing me" - only for them to refuse to meet with Kenny Porter. Which then resulted in WBO forcing the issue.

                      So...I gotta say, it's a hard choice.

Do you go with the guy who eeked out a close win, but at least tried?

Or do you go with the guy that's terrified of even trying?
