  • Is Teofimo Lopez running from Lopez v Loma II the biggest duck in boxing history?

I couldn't make out most of his rambling erratic interview last night, all I heard was he wants no part of Loma.
    What do U think?

no because he already fought him, loma at fault for no rematch clause

a rematch would be interesting tho but teo is in charge now and i think he should rematch actually as it would surely do pretty good

The part when he mentioned Davis, I had no idea what he was saying at all, either.

No, but it is the biggest fight he can get. So, if he is smart, he must rematch Loma.

I think he should give Loma a chance to win back his belt.

Why? He won clear and the fight wasn't all that exciting. There was no rematch clause in the contract so he doesn't owe Lomachenko anything. Would I be upset if there was a rematch? Of course not, but it's not a fight I'm dying to see. I rather both fighters right others at 135 or in the case of Lopez, I want to see him fight Taylor.

This just reminds me of Pacquiao fans wanting a rematch for every time he lost. Just let it go, the fight happened and it wasn't a good one. Lomachenko had his opportunity with Lopez and couldn't get it done. On to the next one…

Your boy was supposed to school Teo, remember?

Blame Loma for ****ting the bed, Teo doesn't owe him anything.

I’m a Lopez fan but he is avoiding the rematch. I don’t think his team fancy it either tbh.

I didn't see the Interview. However , so long as he was calling out Haney ,Davis or Garcia I'm cool with that. He doesn't need to fight LOMA he has nothing to prove. He stands to gain more fighting Haney or Davis. If Loma won and Teo was asking for a rematch we will all be saying fu*ck off he has had his chance. Let TEO chase the undisputed or go for the cash cow in the weight class, Davis

Don't get me wrong, Loma ain't "my boy", I don't have any allegiance here.

Agreed, Loma not having a rematch clause was ******, arrogant, and bit him in the azz, but let's face it, the result was a close unanimous decision. Lopez never had him in trouble, it really wasn't even a dominating performance, and simply edged him out in a competitive yet not overly exciting match.

If he had stopped Loma or put up an overwhelming decision win I could see it, but listening to him babbling about "moving on" and whatever he was rambling about "the younger generations" this or that, he just seemed to want to get outta town with his belts & money and not risk being taken back down to earth with a loss.

Why else would he avoid what would be one of the biggest fights in recent years?
