  • Comments Thread For: Oscar Valdez on Conceicao: You Can't Win a Fight Running Like That!

Oscar Valdez started slow. Robson Conceicao was fighting the fight of his life. The champion then turned it around. Valdez retained his WBC super featherweight world title Friday evening with a unanimous decision (115-112 2x and 117-110) over 2016 Brazilian Olympian gold medalist Conceicao in front of a sold-out crowd of 4,545 at Casino Del Sol.

That's right, you win fights by paying off the judges, ref, and taking PEDs. 117-110? lol.

You can win it on steroids though and being on the favoured Reynoso team which is in bed with the WeBeCanelo

        Didn't watch.

Was Conceicao unexpectedly good, or was Valdez mysteriously bad?

I didn’t score the fight but my feeling was that the Brazilian won the fight.. I then looked at the boxingscene scorecard, because they usually are spot on with the scoring, and to my surprise I see they had Oscar losing the first 5 rounds and winning the last 7 and with the deducted point giving him a 115-112 victory which was the score for two of the judges on this unanimous win for the Mexican!!! I’ll take it!!!!!! Let’s go Sonora!!!!

I saw it on YT...Valdez was poor, no jab, bodypunching, no sense of urgency...Conceicao was very skilled and boxed really well...he took his foot off things and didnt seem to concentrat well, he kind of gave it away, .ESpn had it 114-113 for him, one judge had it 117-111 for Valdez....moronic, the other two got it wrong as well...you could see it coming though

"You can't win a fight running like that ". Unless, of course, you're name is Canelo or Mayweather.
