The young lady can't defend herself from father and husband statements. Bleeding
in the brain surgery is something not overlooked by boxers. She should not
have been released from hospital without treatment. Canada doing complete
investigation and a lot of people will be looking to cover their asses. She was probably
fighting for peanuts once travel, hotel, trainers fees and misc deductions are subtracted.

Good post and even better bullet point summary on posting etiquette.

I'm not sure if you're joking about her being sold into sex slavery, but boxing is the harder and more dangerous path in my opinion. I don't think many women are selling "a piece" on the side between fights to make ends meet, lol.

It's sad nonetheless and she knew the risks...but you have to save fighters from themselves. We get that part. However, he husband and father are deplorable human beings for knowing she needed medical attention concerning her brain but allowed her to fight before addressing it.

THAT'S where your team comes into play to save you and you'd think family would be a little less dumb, but here we are. Was her fight purse even worth it? I'm sure that brain injury was gonna cost more than what she made in this fight, but this is the route they chose. So sad, man.
