    1. Holyfield, yup fair, he was a past prime blown up cruiser with a heart condition but he could still go.

    2. Tyson, was FINISHED at this stage and never won a meaningful fight again in his career

    3. Lennox, great fighter, 3 fights previously had been brutally ktfo by Journeyman Mccall

    4. Moorer, 1 year previously had been brutally ktfo by a 45 year old Foreman

    5. Golota, I mean... He was OK, sometimes

    6. Akinwande. Lol

    7. Mercer, decent heavyweight, also a ******* addict and alcohol abuse issues

    8. Tua, one of the best on this list but couldn't handle anyone who had a back foot game

    9. Bowe, FINISHED at this stage in his career.

    10. Witherspoon. Who cares.

    OK let's compare to today's top 10.

    1. Fury, beats anyone on that list.

    2. Joshua, beats anyone on that list other than Holyfield or Lewis.

    3. Wilder, beats anyone except Lewis, Holyfield, maybe Tyson could still take him at that stage, I'm not sure.

    4. Whyte, beats anyone except Lewis, Holyfield, Tyson or Tua

    5. Parker, beats anyone except Lewis, Holyfield and maybe tyson

    6. Andy Ruiz, beats about half that list

    7. Ortiz, Er maybe he beats witherspoon, Mercer and Golota

    8. Mike Hunter, beats a couple of them

    9. Joyce, too early to tell, probably beats half of them.

    10. Usyk, beats all of them except Lewis.

It's not my list - it's the Ring Magazine list for 1996.

How do you know Fury beats everyone on that list with the type of names on his resume? Who has he fought apart from a Wlad who was going through a breakup and the bum, Wilder? At least AJ has enough sample size to be definite about who he can beat and who he can't beat.

Holyfield is a bigger, better, more powerful and elite version of Cunningham and even a washed up Cunningham who was coming off 3 losses knocked down Fury heavily. And Lennox Lewis wasn't the broken version of Wlad that Fury fought.

Like you’re seriously making that distinction as if it changes the substance of my post.

I’m not but the facts are the facts and I would rather be stopped by the ref than be knocked clean out....go ask any fighter and they will tell you that...you can’t make stuff up that didn’t happen....answer my question did the ref waive of the fight yes or no ?

Ok. I posted ktfo and also posted slapped around. I didn’t think not posting what literally happened would be an issue.

That you see that as making stuff up is a bit much but ok.

I’d say only Mercer and probably Tua would be top-10 in this era. And they would be where Rivas is.
You would fancy Dillian Whytes chances against Moorer or even a 43 year old Foreman? A guy who got sparked out by a 40 year old never been who ended up with covid???
