I wouldn't even call it a boxing match. It was just an out and out cornholing. I'm hoping they leave Wilder in this fight until he's out cold on the floor. Then the excuses will start.

Fury may do a "one off" kind of fun thing, and be entertaining as a circus if he does. It would be a great time. But doing it for real?? Come on, we all know it is not a real thing. 2 totally different sports that require totally different preparations and a lifetime of training to do correctly. Fury has proven himself disciplined in his second portion of his boxing career, but he would just get embarrassed.

Pro wrestling? Tyson Fury could OWN that entertainment product.

Everything any Fury says should be taken with a pinch of salt.

He didnt look too bad in that training session he did with Till. Till being a MT guy had him drilling knees and elbows over and over though when in a real situation obviously 90% of Furys training time should be dedicated to defensive grappling. If he did that and was given some safer stylistic match ups or just had freakshow fights somewhere like Bellator or KSW, he might do alright.

I dunno. He was pretty awkward and not especially well received when he had that short WWE stint a few years back. He didnt seem to be able to translate his persona into that scripted environment.

Interesting fact, if Fury retired right now I think he'd be the only heavyweight champ to never defend his belts.

He's only a single strapper....so guys who won multiple and dropped one are kind of analogous.

Like when Lennox dropped the WBA to fight Grant instead of Ruiz. He never defended undisputed, never defended his WBA...or was it C? Doesn't matter, he had three and defended two I remember that much.

In that regard plenty, but yeah, I don't think any lineal has ever not defended.

I wish Fury great success in MMA and WWE after Wilder retires him from boxing on October 9th.

That it took that many posts into this thread for someone to go there honestly surprises me!!
