What Valdez tested for is not a banned substance for athletes to ingest its only an in-competition bann which means its only not allowed for the actual competition event. (similar to marijuana, caffine in above a certain dosage etc.)

Wada the standard for all other organization who do have a research department, investigation department, and are responsible for putting vada biggest cheer leader Victor Conte in prison for his PED violations do not have what Valdez tested for in their banned list for out of competition use.

Um No. You dont have a clue what you are talking about. He was busted for an amphetamine which most basic employment tests would have even found in their screener tests. It is a controlled substance amphetamine specifically used for weight loss and cutting. This isnt a masking agent or a nasal spray (which are weight cutters). Phentermine would have given a false positive for meth, or any number of other amphetamines and then they would find it in the follow on mass spectro test.

There is no real excuse for Oscar here, he cant say oh it was in my protein shake or oh I accidentally took a prescription only amphetamine. Or oh I bought it off the shelf at walmart. And its performance and use case is clear: Oscar needed to drop some fat to make weight.

That they waived this is a joke because they would wave anything base on WHO you are not WHAT the substance is. Why do we even have PED testing if they arent going to do anythign with a positive result? just cancel all PED testing because everyone is on them anyways.

Amphetamines only have a few day detection window. Oscar's team thought they could sneak some in and not get caught.
