I think Caleb has a decent chance to win. My biggest concern is his durability. You're going to have to be able to withstand some punishment and persevere to beat Canelo.

Plant is an ok guy & good fighter but when Canelo starts firing bombs bad things can happen to the opponent.

I bet all the People on here saying that Plant is going to beat Canelo, if Plant loses, will come back after the fight and call Plant Not that good, or a bum. Just watch, that's the way it always happens, never will give Canelo credit for beating good fighters.

I like Plant as much as the next guy, but I'd like for someone to break down for me how you think he legitimately wins this fight. Not just how, 'he fights a fight that he should win', rather how at the end of the fight he gets his hand raised by the ref.

I read a lot about how he controls distance, okay, that he does. But if he fights off his back foot the whole night then the judges will just give Canelo the benefit of the doubt for being the aggressor, ergo the 'ring general'. And for the moments that Plant tries to stand in the pocket, the judges will further award Canelo because he is, 'making Plant fight his (Canelo's) fight."

Lets say he does stick and move well though, and peppers Alvarez with jabs all night, out landing him. We've seen that before, out landing Canelo doesnt give you the nod (unless you are money making A-side Mayweather). Canelo will get the benefit of the doubt that his punches are more impactful by whatever factor it takes to give him the round. We've heard it before following Canelo fights, "you don't win with a jab", and when it comes to beating Alvarez that seems to hold true.

Maybe Plant KO's him......yeah doubt that. Canelo has a great set of whiskers, and Plant just aint that type of fighter.

This aint me hating on boxing, I'm just being honest here. If someone who favors Plant could explain how they think he would get actual judges to give him more rounds than they give Canelo I'd love to read it. And this assumes he's actually able to do this against Canelo, who is a great fighter.
