Does anyone actually read an article? The substance is only banned in competition and not on the WADA list of banned substances meaning Valdez did nothing wrong lmao.

And geez, I forget which posters they were exactly but they would swear VADA & USADA would test the same but the article states "However, VADA has its own list of banned substances..."

They changed the threshold because their cash cow got caught cheating, at the time the amount found in his body was above whatever threshold there was aka CHEATING! Canelo haters claim that .6ng of Clenbuterol was cheating yet VADA in 2019 amended a new threshold of 2ng in accordance with WADA. Then this year WADA bumped it to 5ng. Lol

Amending Clenbuterol in sport isn’t exclusive to Boxing. Canelo haters say “they” (VADA or WADA) changed it for the cash cow. Lol. Olympics SPORTS and other million dollar athletes have more weight than Canelo Alvarez. No favoritism would exist for meat contamination solely for boxing. Lol

Valdez looks to have gotten a bit bigger with new power punching techniques. I think his team saw that he had bumped about 5lbs more muscle mass, so instead of relying on a crazy drain on the scale they perhaps wanted the help of diuretic. I say that’s better and safer than draining 15lbs of water. Once upon a time Brandon Rios and Alvarado drained 20lbs+ for a fight…
