all major fighters from the UK know that in order to establish a real legacy in boxing, they need to fight in the US at some point. Some did so willingly early in their careers such as Lewis and Khan, some did it later on such as Calzaghe, and others did it at different points such as Hamed, Fury, Hatton, etc. I’ve never seen anyone bomb as badly as Joshua did in his one shot. I doubt he’ll ever come back.

Aj should have boxed Wilder in 18 when he had the chance instead of continuing his old man of the year fight schedule (4 of 6) milking casuals #moneballboxing
Instead he went on a Sky Johnny Nelson interview & said "i won't be rushed into the Wilder fight" when asked when he said"19 20 21"Hearn then said separately "2020,Wilder might even loose by then" QUACK!
This heavyweight era is absolutely terrible, i preferred the Klitschko era, at least we had a champ.
I'd want Usyk to win but of course rematch clause has a rematch clause & this would stagnate the division again just like it delayed the division a year & a half fighting Ruiz. *****
Soooo much BS in the one comment, I wouldn't have thought it possible.

I used to think it was a cliché not to mention downright impossible not to think of the future - but I realise there's a difference between being aware of future opportunities and allowing focus to drift away from the present challenge.

Usyk, despite his lacklustre entry into the HW scene will likely present the toughest challenge for AJ since his rematch with Ruiz Jr.

I'm a fan of AJ's - but I also am itching to see him matched against either Wilder or Fury.

I believe the Wilder fight will be the more entertaining one for obvious reasons, but would still happily settle for an undisputed showdown between domestic rivals. The turnout would be incredible.
The last time though was in the US and he couldn't talk into a mic without being asked about Wilder. This is Hearn talking here, AJ has learned from that.

Neither of them have ever done better numbers lmao. But yeah they might beat it this time in the 3rd fight that nobody wants to see. When Fury makes it 3-0 will they find an excuse for the quadrupology lol.

That was one fight. There'll be other opportunities. In any case the legacy is established where the real power base is and at the moment in this division that would be the UK. And its WORLD titles here so apart from selling out in all major UK stadia, he's got Billionaire Arab oil barons making purpose built Stadium for him. What can the US even do for AJ given there's no top US heavyweights to speak of.

After Fury beats Wilder again, USA will be irrelevant at heavyweight.

You want me to believe AJ, Fury, Joyce, Whyte will have to fight each other in America or what?

You might be new to this boxing thing and understanding how the business works. Why do you think Fury has been marketing himself in America for the past few yrs and signed with Arum? You think it was solely to land a fight with Wilder? Either way, Joshua likely won’t be coming back. His mental fragility isn’t built for it.

If Usyk wins, I am certain a rematch clause will be invoked. Same thing with Wilder-Fury. IF Wilder wins, we will have to more then likely suffer through a 4th fight. An undisputed fight only happens if Fury and Joshua win which by the bookmakers is the logical outcome, but weirder things have happened in boxing.
