    Jake Paul vs Anderson Silva

Anderson Silva beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. by split decision and says he wants to fight Logan Paul. But if he fought Jake Paul who would win? This would be the first opponent that is the same height as Paul but he's older than Woodley.

From what I have seen of both thus far. Anderson should win that one because as of right his footwork is far better than Jake's and he seems to know his body and how to pace himself which are two very important parts of boxing. Jake still crosses his feet and uses to much movement (better than not moving ala Woodley) which tires himself out.

Jake would need at least a good solid two years to workout his footwork issues and pacing. Or Anderson would have to decline a good amount from what he was against Chavez Jr. Which is possible given Silva's age but I wouldn't bank on it.

For the record I had Paul winning his last three fights but against Silva. I see Silva being too much for him at this point.

anderson silva is 6'2''. Jake aint fighting his ass. Jakes only chance at all in fights is from the outside. anderson boxes much better than tyron. I was pretty blown away how well he did against chavez.

Jake paul was exposed tonight. There is a limit to how far he can go. He will have to consider his match making very carefully and/or pay people under the table to throw the fights.

Those first 3 fights his opponents just walked straight to him and let him tee off. when he cant do that he has no strategy or actual boxing skill. Hes trained to throw punches but not to really box and adjust.

I think it matters what weight Anderson has to cut down to and if he'll be drained. At his age, these training camps and weight cuts hurt.

            Silva would KO him.

But I think that's the smart fight.

Paul is going to catch an L sooner than later. May as well get that monster payday.

Silva has fought 3 actual professional boxers and won twice. He also has a lifetime (30+ years) of Muay Thai training and a couple of years of dedicated boxing training when he was recovering from that gruesome leg injury, because he didn't trust the leg sparring kickboxing or grappling.

It would be a big mismatch. He would sleep Paul. Paul needs to be fighting guys with short amateur careers and 1 or 2 pro fights if he does start fighting legitimate boxers.

I got no words, Jake Paul is just **** at boxing, Silva, Tommy fury put a striker in front of him he will lose, there will be a point where he will begin paying backhanders to keep a winning streak going, had Woodley been a little more active he won that fight

He just beat the guy who beat Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. I'd like to see Paul fight Chavez Jr. next, because even though Silva beat Jr, I don't think that necessarily means Paul does. Having a former world champ as his "first" boxing opponent would be a good next step.
