In terms of just raw athleticism, Jean Pascal might be the best in the game. He doesn't put it together as well in the ring, but few could make his mistakes and still win.

Berto's a little rigid and stiff, as shown off with terrible head movement. Berto reminds me of Jermain Taylor where good hand speed is confused for overall athleticism.

Im not one to overate a fighter and im not trying to make him out to be unbeatable or anything, just that his pure athleticism is what makes him the fighter he is imo. I mean how can you make the mistakes this guy makes and not pay for it yet beat some of the best fighters around his weight.

I think he is being overhyped and he probably will get beat by a technically superior fight but one thing he deserves a big up for is that athleticism.

Think about how he had David Diaz falling face first to the canvas because his body went so limp he could not even put his hands out to stop himself, what about his demolition of Hatton ?

His feet are so fast to, thats what goes unnoticed a lot of the time.
Your observations are not far-fetched at all. I've been holding back this same notion, but the culmination of athletic ability and experience that we are now seeing, he's even scarier now than when he annihilated MAB.

You know, earlier this year I had a conversation with a president of one of the leading boxing equipment makers. I had asked him about PAC. Since he mentioned that he had personally delivered a set of boxing gloves to WildCard for PAC's use in his preparation for the Hatton fight just days prior to my visit in his office.

Well, let me first tell you about this president's background . He has been around since Ali was Cassius Clay, actually knew Ali since some of Ali's famous photos were taken by him, was a former fighter himself. He has seen many of the greatest boxers to ever grace this earth during their workout sessions, sparring sessions and their biggest fights.

And he told me that PAC's speed was unfriggin'believable. He actually rates PAC's speed alone in the top 5 of all-time! I personally thought whoa, that's pretty crazy, but then again, this was a guy who had seen 'em all. Who am I to argue that.

So, one of the other questions I asked him was who is faster, Khan or PAC, he responded w/o even having to think about it and said PAC! He was also there for one of the sparring sessions between PAC and Khan.

Now, I have been fortunate enough to have seen PAC at the WCB in one of his workout sessions, he was actually already in peak form, this was when he was about to fight Erika for the third time. And I'm tellin' ya, I knew PAC was fast, but my mouth just dropped as I was standing 3 feet away from him while he was moving around the ring throwing punches.

The thought that went through my head, was like, jesus christ "is this guy human", I'm not kiddin' y'all, I have never seen speed like that in front of me. What we see on t.v. and in person are two totally different things.

And as you mentioned about PAC's feet. Well, during my observation of PAC in that same visit, I shifted my focus on his footwork and that was another jaw droppin' moment. Again, when you actually see this **** in person, his feet sometimes doesn't appear like it's touchin' the canvass, obviously it is, but it so d*mn fast.

He really moves at a dizzyin pace, man. Imagine facing a guy who already has quick hands and moves like a f**kin' bee at the same time, that's PAC!

After seeing PAC. I thought to myself, wow, I had a new found respect for Erik Morales. 'Cause, that speed alone was overwhelming enough, but to deal with the power that comes with the speed for 22 rounds. I say 22 because I don't really count the 3rd fight anymore.

PAC's speed is a sight to behold - Jim Lampley and We Want Floyd(I had the same exact thought run in my mind when I saw PAC at WildCard)

You're only focusing on the attributes of being athletic that suits your post. You conviniently forget things such as reflexes and flexibility.

One aspect of natural ability that Floyd has over PAC, is his vision. Floyd has one of the best vision out there. Him and Pernell have a great set of eyes.
