If Jo-Jo fights Garcia, Jo-Jo is likely getting put to sleep. I wouldn't let perceptions change reality. Jo-Jo is a good fighter and would be much better at 130Lbs. At 135 against Garcia he would be outgunned in both hand speed and power.

Diaz would have to put constant pressure on Garcia to be competitive but he doesn't have the strength or stamina to fight like that 12 rounds. He would likely be dead tired by the 5th and stretched somewhere between 7 and 9.

I think it's too early to say. He has KO'd a lot of guys easily. He has power and speed. He had one bad moment in his entire short career. As far as "people giving him credit", I believe it comes from his promotional team. I think that's what promoters do. The boxing media has mainly been tempered unless it has been attached to his promotion, e.g. DAZN announcers. We just don't know yet.

        Ryan Garcia is no journeyman.

He is not the most technically sound compared to other elites but any opponent he faces has to give him respect for three reasons. His power, his speed, and his height/reach for the weight class.

He may rely heavily on the left hook both upstairs and downstairs, and the jab followed followed by the right.....but he is so good at those things that his offense will stop a lot of talented fighters if they don't respect what he brings to the ring.

Very similar to how Deontay has certain defensive liabilities but his power and range that he covers with that right hand as allowed him to stop more technically sound fighters.

Hopefully Ryan doesn't do the same as Wilder did and stop developing as a boxer. If he continues with Reynoso though, I don't think that can happen.

Ryan has the right people around him to move to the next level.

Definitely not good to be getting dropped that hard - but I'm thinking if he wasn't really a fighter he would nt have responded the way he did. Even for jaded fans, I think it was legitimately exciting the way he came back from that. The speed is legit, power seems decent in the left hook at least....I see the defensive flaws too (glaring)... but gonna hold off a little longer to see what he really has inside. I think he finished that fight like a champ would have if he got knocked down and embarrassed

His defense kinda sucks. Definitely walking time bomb before someone sets it off on his chin.

Sure. Let's reconnect if the fight is actually made. I'd take Zepeda to kick Ryan's ass too.

I think you have him mistaken for Tank there homeboy...

Yea,he gets clowned on because of his social media presence and personality but that speed and power is real. He showed grit coming back after getting dropped hard by Campbell and finished the show in better fashion than Loma. His speed/power/stature is going to be a problem for anyone...Loma,Teo,Tank,Haney...all of them. Now whether he's mentally tough enough for this sport that"ll remain to be seen. I actually favor him against all those guys and if anyone wants to make a little cash bet if those fights were to happen,I'm down.
