Ryan Garcia is a journeyman level fighter

Makes me laugh how much credit is this guy getting for going life and death with one of Lomachenko`s leftovers.

I don`t care about instagram and sh.it, this is boxing, this kid is just a young pretty attention whore, not a real fighter.

He should retire as a boxer before somebody hurts him really bad. he is born to be a model, not a fighter.

I agree with you on the boxing part and not being a real fighter. He's not all that. He should get out before he gets starched and broken for good. I don't see Ryan going anywhere in boxing. Good post.

Ryan is only popular, he has speed and some good timing but the minute they were going to match him against a real contender he melted. Now he will fight another no hoper coming up in weight and he will proclaim himself the king again.

If he fights JoJo next, I have no doubt he'd beat the crap out of Garcia.

I have ALWAYS said this kids a lil punk btch(& nowhere near elite),but calling him"going life & death with Lomas leftovers" is laughable, considering he stopped Campbell & Loma didn't. That is the definition of revisionism

You can go life and death with someone while winning by KO.

I think he’s a very good boxer, I just think he’s in a weight division that isn’t going to be kind to him.

I'm not a fan, I think I've his opponent to win every time I've seen him fight.

I do think he has speed and timing with his hands and can crack well enough. He has some defensive liabilities. He persevered through adversity but I don't know if he loves fighting so much as being a fighter.

He's been matched very carefully, and he nearly lost it all to Campbell. We'll see what happens if and when he steps up in class.

Ryan Garcia is literally not a journeyman. He's a blue-chip prospect who obviously has some special qualities. That doesn't mean he's going to be an ATG, HOF, or multiple-weight world champion. However, I will say he is among the top fighters in his division and if he continues to improve and has the right mentality will be a star in the sport.
