      Much younger than Margs so I would think there is a slight difference but I get it.

      Floyd was outweighed the same way Manny was outweighed against Margs.

          Unfoffcial weigh ins;

          Castillo x2
          Baldomir
          Ortiz
          Canelo
          Maidana x2

          Probably more that’s just top of my head.

          Outweighed by 10+ lbs in all of the above.

            - -Must be a noob.

            Marg holds the record for Ring ranked welters, 12 straight years before being suspended and fighting his way back in shape in Mexico where he was at 154, another weight he used to fight at in between welter. The Manny fight was at 150 that Manny refused to make by bloating himself in shakes. Marg was 165 hours before the fight and likely 170 in the ring whereas Manny still at 144-45.

            U even watch boxing or just drool on it?

              Marg wasn't ranked at 154, belt was vacant, and a catchweight of 150 lbs LOL. Closer to 147 to 154. Pac really had to drain Marg.

                Oscar De La Hoya probably had any 15-20 pounds on Mayweather also during fight night.

                  Yo Jake, it's just a simple fact that guys like Marquez, Guerrero, Hatton and Maidana were fighters who were successful at lower weights and came up in weight for the money. I'd be surprised if the combined record of all of these guys at 147 is much above .500. Very good fighters at 140 and below, but if you look at their records at 147, barely average at welterweight.

                    Margs was 0-1-1 at 154 when he fought Manny. Looks like you’re the noob.

                    so it wasn’t 17lbs as the person I quoted but you’re now making up it was 25lbs.

                    Yeah, ok.

                      Most of Mayweather’s fights he was outweighed. Baldomir weighed 167 on fight night. Madaina well into the 160s. Heck, Manny may have outweighed him when they fought. Dumb thread.
