I don't believe Plant has the power to knock Canelo out and even if he manages to outbox him, the most I see him getting is a split decision loss. Honestly, 168 isn't a very good division and I don't think anyone there beats Canelo.

Well he won't win the fight unless he does my friend. One is going to have to take the fight to Canelo in hopes of defeating and beating him up.

If one is not willing to take those types of risks and chances against him then it's going to be very difficult tor them to win on the three official judge's scorecards.

One must be willing to engage, exchange and trade punches with him.

This fight comes down to a handful of unknowns and slight differences that will tip the balance in one or another’s direction. Canelo’s worst facet is his feet. He had slow feet. Balance, power, timing, everything else that is driven by your feet canelo has. Speed he does not. Every fighter that has given Canelo problems has had quick feet. Floyd danced around him, hit him at the right time because had was the A side. Plant’s feet are quicker but for how long? Plant has a great jab, but does it have enough sting to keep Canelo off? Can Alvarez get close enough often enough and most crucially early enough in the fight to make a difference? I see Canelo Plant the same as Lomachenko Lopez. Plant will keep Canelo honest and at length with his height and reach until the mid rounds where Canelo will begin to catch up but will never hit the consistency to pull back the points defect. A good big one beats a good small one. Reckon plant will take it on points. Reckon Benavidez will smash both of them.

One must also have the power to make one's aggression have an effect. If Plant opens up and tries to pressure Alvarez and it doesn't bother him, he'll get countered. If he gets hurt by the counter, Canelo will finish him.

It’s fine to say plant wants more credit than he deserves but you’re giving canelo extra credit for average work at the same time.
Yes all the leg work you imbecile. Plant sat on his belt for 3 years never unifying. Canelo was still at a lower weight when Benavidez was snorting coke and losing his belt. So don't even bring him up.

if Benavidez wasn't such a mental midget that couldn't stay off coke or disciplined enough to lose his belt a second time due to not making the weight then you could make a case for them ducking him.

Also Canelo was contracted to DAZN and GBP during the time Benavidez was snorting coke, so the fight couldn't have been made you idiot.

Getting 3 of the four belts is doing all the legwork you dumb hoe.

You're reacting to me so you answer first.
I replied to a statement, not a question. I asked the question first.

You claimed people would try to downplay Canelo and his achievements no matter what. I don't do that unless there actually is something wrong in the fighters he beat, or the way he went about it. So, who did Canelo beat that he should get full credit for and can't be played down unless they're a hater?

You seem to want to deflect here. Why don't you just answer my question, then ask me whatever you want? I won't take hours of going back and forth with you in a desperate attempt to avoid answering. I'll just get straight down to it. I'm not dis*****g who can and can't beat Canelo from 154-175. I'm dis*****g the fact you think anyone who points out things that are true as being nothing but a hater. It's a completely different point to what i'm even asking you. My question to you is clear after you made that statement.

It was weak leg work against mediocre opposition yet you wanna praise it as if he was beating some future hall of famers. And he was handed a belt for free by the wbc but you wanna give him credit for that? Gtfoh ya casual bozo. Typical canelo groupie. Wanna criticize others but overhype what canelo has done at 168. Cornball. Now you wanna use the excuse that canelo was with dazn and couldn’t fight a pbc fighter? Then wanna explain how is it that Joshua fought Ruiz and Beeazele when he’s with dazn and they’re with pbc? Or how about ggg with dazn fighting derveyenchenko who's with pbc. Daniel Jacobs literally was in a dual situation with both dazn and pbc together. Dazn had it in their contract that they have final say in Canelo’s contract so Golden boy had no power at that point in picking his opponents. So don’t act like there was some Cold War that would’ve made the fight impossible. Plus, aren’t you goofball fan boys the same ones that have been claiming for years that canelo was his own boss? It’s so easy exposing you canelotards because you never operate with facts. You just desperately try to make sh** up to defend your man crush. What Plant has done at 168 isn’t impressive but all canelo has done at 168 is fight average to below average white guys yet you wanna rest his balls on your tonsils and celebrate him. No dignity.

keep crying you ****** hoe. I'm not reading your gibberish. You're just an emotional bi.tch that cries in every Canelo thread. No point in debating you.

Just one thing, how exactly did Benavidez get the WBC belt? that's right it was vacant when he fought for it. He also got it handed to him.

Sort of reminds me of a fighter and his fan base that claimed he was the greatest thing to ever put gloves on. That same fighter who wouldn't dare go up one weight class and decided to stay put in a dead division until he got a payday with a certain fighter that his fans now like to criticize. He stayed in that same division his entire career which was even worse than the now current 168 division yet his fans claimed that he was fighting nothing but killers. When he finally got his wish and that mega payday he came up short, the boogeyman having all the physical advantages came up short and all of sudden he was old overnight. He got undressed specially in the second fight when he begged that fighter to stand and fight toe to toe only to look even worse than the first fight. He got embarrassed and ran out of the ring that till this day now has to go fight some Japanese fighter in some other country just to stay relevant
