    Can Pacquiao win a rematch?

Is there anything he can do differently to beat Ugas?

Or was this loss just due to the irreversible effects of Father Time?

i think he probably has a shot if he trains for ugas and can turn abck the clock and land something big to give him some steam. but will he? you tend to doubt it.

not only did manny look depleted, he looked like a depleted version of the depleted pacquiao we have grown used to seeing over the last 10 years. let's not forget that it's been almost a decade since he was knocked out cold by juan manuel marquez. he looked old old. the shots were hurting him, even the power was diminished and those two things are usually the last things to go. on a great fighter.

let's manny retire in peace. i hope he's got a long and healthy life ahead of him. sadly, given the nature of his career and his style for the last 20 years or so, that is unlikely. hats off to one of the greatest to ever put on a set of boxing gloves. his accomplishments are truly remarkable. the guy was a hall of famer at 122-130 lbs and then he moved up and became a real legend.

At 40, some days your legs work fine and other days, not so well.

Probably on a good day Pac wins. Pac hasn't got to change strategy to beat Ugas, he just needs his legs back

Absolutely he can. That was an incredibly close fight.

The fight was even on all three cards after six rounds.

If Pacquiao was two rounds away from a split draw.

Every great fighter has one great performance left in them. Who knows if the Thurman fight was it. If he is able to get the springs in his legs for 12 rounds he can win. When he was able to angle and attack he did well and Ugas would shell up.

Of course. Will he is another thing. But if he can avoid his legs locking up and has a full camp for Ugas. Things might change drastically. But he’s also older. But he’d have a chance for sure.

I think he can, I don't want to make excuses or take away from Ugas' win, but let's just say Pacman over-trained a bit, he had stiffness and cramps, he had inactivity as well so if he can make does things right, he can win.

B-Hop said as he aged he did not train as hard, but instead did some stretching and warming up before and cooling down after workouts. At this age, Pacman needs to focus on quality instead of quantity.

Pacman had many more rounds of sparring for this camp than for thurman's fight, why did he spar so many rounds after a long layoff?
2 years is probably one of the longest lay off pacman has had ever since he began boxing.

Ugas style would give prime pac problems.

Prime pac movement and work rate probably overcomes ugas but not the style.

I tried to tell everyone pre fight.

A big, strong Cuban boxer is a bad style for pac. We know how technical Cubans are. They are also more defensive and disciplined in the ring.

                    Smh

Ugas actually did it prettier than i thougit. I thought he would clinch and push more.

                    Ugas did very well.
