Doesn't regret it, probably doesn't remember it either!

I know that Pac gave Marquez multiple chances to run it back when he didn’t necessarily have to, but the difference with the 4th fight was that it was the only one that didn’t end in controversy and they both went into it saying that it’d be the last one for sure. So I don’t blame Marquez for just moving on.

In their magnificent rivalry, Marquez clearly had Pacquiao's number, he had the edge over him, and knocked him out cold to end it.

Styles make fights, and Pacquiao clearly dominated Bradley in three fights, yet Tim edged Marquez. Also, Pacquiao had a more glorious career I guess you could argue.

        Both outstanding fighters.

well some people who beat pac, did so convincingly and didn’t need to face him a second or third time. And I highly doubt Marquez would ever say he’s not in pacs class. Where did you get that from?

“I know that we offered him either six or seven million dollars, which was far more than he ever made for the fourth fight,” Arum explained to WBN “The offer was made within a year of Marquez scoring the knockout. So we offered him six million. Then I know we went up to eight or nine (million), something like that.”

They basically got Marquez for lowball money for fights 3 and 4 knowing he badly wanted them, but TR obviously didn't want the 5th one badly enough on their end when they were unwilling to increase it to 10 despite the large size of the pot.

At any rate, both sides had stated beforehand that the 4th fight would be for all the marbles with both looking for the definitive KO, and Marquez is the one who got the job done.
Whats crazy is when people speculate Pac didnt want JMM or Floyd sooner...the dude was trying to fight Spence and Crawford at 42 ! A legend and a warrior. Arum is just a ****ty promoter, honestly

The same thing happens with Crawford now. He can get no fights with a certain group of fighters, PBC WWs. A certain group of fans, some of whom use transition hormones, blame Crawford and suggest hes ducking. Crawford is a 3 division champion, has a 100% KO rate at WW, and has never had a close fight. Believe me, CRAWFORD isnt ducking anyone and he legitimately wants PBC groupies. Arum has even offered the PBC girls good money but they still wont fight. A famous Kendrick Lamar song rings a bell....

"From 2004 to 2012, Pacquiao fought Marquez a total of four times."

I always wonder why people say "Money and Manny will always be tied together?" If anything, it's Manny and Marquez!

I remember Marquez saying Manny Pacquiao offered him 100 million dollars for a 5th fight but the catch was that the fight would have to take place in the Philippines. My man turned that money down, now way in hell that he would’ve knocked manny out the same way if they fought again. They were both roided up in the first fight tho

Marquez beat him four times. He had no reason to fight him again and get robbed on the scorecards.
