Really? Look... I actually like this kid. He seems genuine about issues surrounding fighters and pay, apparently he pays his people well, and... boxers should be following his lead, developing a social media presence and telling promoters to take 2% to help promote, or fck off... But he claims to be doing boxing matches and is yet to fight a boxer... It just won't wash to cherry pick guys who are MMA fighters and claim to be developing as a boxer.

Why not just learn MMA if he wants to fight MMA guys?

But again... so what? He's not a boxer. Yes all praises to Paul... He's the man right now. He's legit about fighters getting paid, he pays well, he is setting the blue print boxers should be following, not to mention other fighters... BUT he cannot claim to be making headway as a boxer fighting guys from MMA. Its like me claiming I am the best baker in the world, the master bater... er baker... because I beat Iron chefs in a cooking contest.

I don't see any way Woodley wins this he has been gun shy in his last few fights and not won a round in a few years.

Tbh as much as this Paul circus pisses me off, I respect him for fighting Woodley, didnt think he'd actually go through with it. For all the talk of Woodley being washed up etc etc, the guy is about 100 levels above anyone Jake has faced so far in terms of his ability to really ****ing hurt you with his hands. Woodley is not a great technical boxer but he has a lot of innate explosive power, probably walks around close to the 200lb mark, seems to have a decent chin, is considered one of the biggest punchers ever at his weight in MMA, has ****ed up multiple striking specialists, is used to fighting taller opponents and was a ****ing UFC champion as recent as 2019. Just earlier this year in his last UFC fight although he lost it was a firefight against a top 10 opponent who is probably the biggest puncher in the division right now, and Woodley had him rattled at one point.

If Jake wins i'll be a mix of impressed and disgusted. Also, just looking at that gif, if Jake walks onto a Woodley overhand right like that his head is going to do a 360.

He would look small potatoes if he tried to do it anywhere other than the UFC, but the UFC isnt going to be letting him pick celebrities and guys from other combat sports to fight.

Its easy money, I cant not knock Jake Paul for that. Even in our sport, the HW's fight horrible mismatches when they are starting off, I think Tyrone Woodley is far better than what is put in front of the average HW boxer at 3-0.

As an MMA fan, Woodley knows he is gonna get phukked up. He is a wrestler that sloppy boxes. Paul is gonna piece him up (and i hate saying that).

Reading what? A couple people who buy this nonsense? Does not surprise me. It also doesn't cancel out the facts. Paul is about 30lbs heavier, woodley was 0-4 in his own sport, has never boxed a round in his life and is 40. Paul won't box a boxer. All still hold true, keep trying moron.

Is he really though? Woodley obviously doesnt actually weigh 170lbs, most MMA guys cut tons of weight, hes probably closer to 200lbs. Paul is no bigger than guys like Till and Wonderboy.
