I told you several months ago that Plant was never fighting on DAZN. You thought DAZN was going to play the fool by overpricing themselves for that fight. It came to find out that Matchroom didn't bid at all on the fight. Eddie may want Canelo but only at a discount price.

They’re not real boxing fans nor do the purple slurpers support PPV. I got Smith and BJS for 4 quid on an ease protocol viewing on my smart TV ala DAZN, and now we have to resort to some ****** alternative distro because of an $80 PPV. Lol.

Even if DAZN matched PBC’s offer, what stipend does Plant get since there’s no PPV? Plant is a doll for Haymon. There’s nothing DAZN could do to stage Plant unless Plant got a ridiculous guarantee, and that’s stilly being hopeful. It would mean DAZN would have to pay Canelo $40mil plus a bonus to match PPV upside as well as giving Plant more than what PBC would give?! Lol. That’s all a waste of time. DAZN will have the last laugh seeing Haymon splurge and RIF Plant as an expandable.

Canelo’s latest years back catalogue is on DAZN! Whatever fan retention wants to watch Canelo fights can simply replay them on DAZN whenever. PBC has no such infrastructure. What DAZN won’t have is Canelo vs Plant on their catalogue replay unless PBC sells its rights either commission based or all exclusive.

This is just as idiotic as the claims that Wilder is guaranteed $30m for the trilogy fight against Fury when Wilder and Fury’s earnings combined for their first 2 fights is just a bit over $30m.

They're fighting on Fox PPV that's true, but Canelo Promotions is the lead promotor. The broadcast crew mentioned it Saturday night during the Pacquiao fight. I'm pretty sure Canelo's people were the ones doing the talking. Canelo is calling the shots, that's why he managed to balk at the ridiculous demands from Haymon and why he's getting his one fight deal with them.

When you have to leave a network that has the first priority over to fight on a next network - you’re not the shot caller.

And Hearn is a bag carrier that was acting like he’s Canelo’s promoter. AJ’s contract with Matchroom/Skysports is ending with the Usyk fight - where the dominoes fall after that would be interesting.
