George Foreman and Bernard Hopkins are two reasons Pacquiao should keep going

People told Bernard Hopkins he should retire after the loss to Cazalghe. His trainer even said Hopkins should retire publicly.

Hopkins was 43 years old, just looked awful and had already cemented a hall
    of fame career.

He won the light heavyweight championship twice after that fight and fought 12 more times, netting millions and millions of dollars.

George Foreman lost 9 rounds to Tommy Morrison at age 44. Everyone told him that he should retire. He won the heavyweight championship in his very next fight and fought five more times, netting millions and millions of dollars.

    Pacquiao shouldn’t retire.

    Come to terms with it.

You would have said the same thing after Morrison beat Foreman or after Calzaghe beat Hopkins.

If Manny continues it must be at 140. You cant keep fighting much larger men as you yourself slow down.

Foreman had GOAT power so he was special and Bernard was as slippery and cagey as they come. Manny doesnt have a style that gives way to age once his speed goes. Age will always be undefeated

Two 1 in a million examples. Exceptions not the rule.

Foreman was finished at that time, just happens to arguably be the hardest puncher in the history of this planet and power is the last thing to go, and landed a Hail Mary in a fight he was dominated in.

Hopkins, an anomaly, arguably beat Calzaghe who himself was a P4P ranked guy. Dropped him. Shown clear signs he wasn’t done.

Pacquaio just got soundly beaten by a guy who shouldn’t even be carrying his bags.

What do you want? Him to die? He has no business in the ring with an elite fighter.

Pacquiao is a brawler at heart and will only want to fight at welterweight where he's undersized.. He won't get very far thinking he can eat those kind of shots like he's 30

Why didn’t Spence fight Pacquiao? You said it was happening.

foreman would have sparked out an ugas level fighter in his 40s

hopkins later fights were atrocious hug fests and his last fight he tried to get a DQ win by crying after being KTFO of the damn ring. I would rather not see manny end up like a late stage hopkins and frankly he doesnt have it in him to spoil and cry like hopkins did

Hopkins made millions of dollars making fights you wouldn’t watch.

And Foreman would not have knocked out an Ugas level fighter in his 40s.

Foreman lost to Shannon Briggs. He beat Lou Savarese by split decision. He beat Axel Schultz by majority decision. He lost to Tommy Morrison and beat Alex Stewart by majority decision.

                    Lets not change history.
