They would definitely stick it on Classic.

All those fighters suck so bad, no wonder they put it on ESPN instead of HBO.

Yea that would be the smarter thing for them personally to do...put it on classic, cause that would force some people to just buy that. But I doubt a whole lot would. I have it on my tv just came with the package. I got verizon though.

I think ESPN is considering trying to be a major player in boxing. And Id be all for that!

And the ESPN telecast would be in the middle of the day due to the German showing times, right? maybe Im getting mixed up, but I think thats how it would be.

so it wouldnt get in the way of the other late night boxing matches.

I'm sure Khan had a five fight contract with Sky which started with Prescott:

                  Prescott
                  ***an
                  Barrera
                  Kotelnik
                  ????

So I don't think ESPN can show him v Salita.

But it would get in the way of college football and/or college basketball.

It's going to be on ESPN Classic if it's shown in the US at all.

Erm you do realise you still have to pay for espn and its not on freeview.

You people go on like boxing is the main sport for all these channels, yet the're just playing to the masses. If football is what gets the most hits, football is what they invest in. Setanta tried to do both and that ****ed up big time.

The only way the commom person knows about fights is if its on skybo where they advertise it like theres no tomorrow or if its on itv. I mean unless you had setanta did you ever know there was going to be a fight on there????
