Haye vs Valuev, Khan vs Salita May Go To ESPN

According to UK paper The People, ESPN has some interest in televising two upcoming fights that involve two of the biggest names in British boxing. The report states that ESPN is interested in televising David Haye's challenge of WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev, taking place on November 7 in Germany. Haye was due to fight WBC champion Vitali Klitschko on HBO in the next few weeks. He withdrew from the Klitschko deal to take a fight with Valuev and may have burned a bridge with the network. This would be great to get both fights on US television.

Sounds good. Two of our most delicate chinned fighters being showcased on the same US Network..... this could either go very right or very, VERY, VERY wrong!

No think they mean ESPN in the US cos both fights will surely land on Sky Box Office over here, shame though cos if ESPN UK were gonna show these fights then it might mean that they were finally gonna pick up where Setanta left off. I'd buy ESPN UK if they showed at least a slight committment to Boxing but nothing as of yet.

should have figured out Khan will be on sky BO as usual. Early on a Sunday and i had a lot of guinness last night. But Haye shouldnt be on box office, he needs to build a bigger fan base for fights after he beats Valeuv (Klits hopefully)

Im not getting ESPN unless they show boxing. **** them, theres enough football on sky, and i can watch ufc at a mates house, i dont like it enough to pay money for it.

The UK ESPN channel have hardly anything on it at the moment so they def need to get some boxing on there. They should try and sign up Haye but not sure if they could get Khan. I also think they should have a bigger cross over between the American and UK network so that the UK one shows all the ESPN American fights and the American one could also add the UK fights.

ESPN UK is pretty poor at the moment, I don't understand why they don't show all the Boxing they already have rights to in the US ?
