There’s video of Roach saying he doesn’t like that fight for pac and then pacs ridiculous 40 mil guarantee request is all the proof we need. Especially when his guarantee to face Spence was only going to be 5 mil.

Of course we can. That’s why PAC’s greatest challenge was fighting Brandon Rios after Rios had just lost to Alvarado.
Same case with fighting Broner, Mathysse, Margarito, Mosley etc … all coming off losses or weakened by catchweights. And all these fights happened when he was much younger

Oscar De La Hoya weighs in at 145, Manny Pacquiao at 142

Oscar De La Hoya weighed in at 145 pounds today, a surprising two pounds under the 147-pound limit for Saturday night's fight with Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Pacquiao, who is moving up from lightweight (135-pound) world champion for the bout, came in at an even lower 142 pounds.

Both fighters acknowledged their fan bases in a packed MGM Grand Garden Arena by holding up their fists as they departed.

You are delusional. Oscar rehydrated too late otherwise he would've been much more active but he was totally drained at 147...he weighed less than Manny on fight night...yeesh !

That's the point I'm making fool! Oscar was a weight-drained shell of himself! Everyone keeps talking about Manny moving up, but forget to mention Oscar was moving down! He went way down too, which is why he got his azz kicked!

No, his greatest challenge was fighting Barrera, Marquez and Morales, 3 of the best featherweights at that time, now at age 42 (almost 43), he was going to fight the best welterweight, the boogeyman Spence, unfortunately, it’s not going to happen because Spence had a torn retina.

If the favored Filipino southpaw indeed defeats Ugas in their fight for the Cuban champion's WBA "super" welterweight title and remains an active boxer, Pacquiao would want to continue testing himself against elite opponents in the 147-pound division.

I wish a prime Tank, Crawford & Charlas felt the same way.

The OG is part of the PBC, and has been for some time now. Broner, Thurman, and now Ugas!

Its a shame PAC vs Spence could've been the fight of this generation as I see the welterweight division as the best .

The casuals are the one who try to deny that Oscar was weight drained when he tried to make a weight that he didn’t make in 7 years. Mind you I wanted pac to win and was happy he did but you’re out of your mind if you don’t think he was drained.
