I don't expect TR to make a respectable bid unless they think they can re-sign Bud and use him against the fighters in their stable. If PBC doesn't bid and it's only TR's bid, I could see Porter walking and saying he has better financial opportunities. If PBC throws their hat in the ring or there is an overpay (Triller) I think it happens.
WTF are you going on about boy?

Porter says he has "better financial choices"...like when he DUCKED Crawford to fight Ugas (where he lost btw) and made BETTER FINANCIAL CHOICE of $1.25m ?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ?

He was set to make $2m against Crawford

What is wrong with you PBC fucks? So cock crazy you can't even think right

Nah, I don't think Triller is likely either but it's a possibility however remote. I don't think anyone is really "ducking", these guys are businessmen and looking at what they think best for them. I also think the economics of boxing are changing and everyone will need to adjust accordingly.

If it goes to a purse bid it won’t command a big price for either guy. This isn’t a PPV fight and the live gate would be horrible. This is a boxing after dark fight in the old HBO days.
Wow, hey I can't really argue with that.
If anything I think Porter would be the one who draws more fans into viewing the fight.

          Well said man.
I think a lot has to do with the business side also.

In general, I think alot of these fights are going to do less revenue than what the fighters are accustomed to and their portion of the purse will also be affected. Sports viewership I'm general is down, even when people were stuck at home with the pandemic it was down. I'm not sure that reality has reached or set in for all the parties involved.

Wow, I haven't thought of those points. You are right and it all definitely affects purses.
Seems like fighters want what they usually have gotten years ago but really does seem like it is changing and fighters should adapt to the change.
If not, we will see fighters pulling out more and more.

It better happen, things in boxing would be way more hopeless than I think if at this stage this fight can't go through. I might just give up once and for all on boxing if this fight doesn't get made.

                  Hey I understand your point.
It seems like a lot of Boxing fans feel the same man. Too many freaking cancellations of great potential matchups. But something tells me it won't happen.
I hope I am wrong though.
