He knew what he was getting himself into when he signed the fight. He knew that Rigo was not a slugger but a counter puncher. He knew that he was going to be in for a track meet.

Did you honestly expect Rigo to get into a firefight with the much younger and stronger Casimero? Rigo knew he couldn't match Casimero's firepower. Which was why he was constantly on the move.
actually casimero is fighting donaire but he withdrawn. so this is a late notice substitution.. so the signing you are talking about is pointless. but yeah you are correct.. rigo tasted casimero's power in the first round which made him change his mind and style and just run the whole night..

Kind of unfair to judge him solely on the Rigo fight. I don't think anyone would look good against Rigo's style in the bantamweight division, and that includes Inoue.

He's kind of charming though. He trashtalks like a middleschooler without any malice behind it.
Good assessment. Styles make fights. He can **** and he's willing to get sparked for the chance to spark his opponent. That trait alone means he has a shot against alot of guys. I think his fights with Donaire or Inoue would be dangerous, violent firefights.

I think Rigo felt some of that power and aggression early and decided to get.on his bike and "outpoint" his opponent. Casimero was left ineffectually chasing down an elusive and unwilling opponent.

AWFUL Boxing Technique! No Jab, can't cut the ring off, Rigo made him look silly all night because he just could not cut the ring off so we cannot just blame Rigo for it being a sh%t fight

with that being said I'm still a fan, he is a fun fighter inside and outside the ring, yeah his English might not be great but you can see he has a big personality...I'm excited for Casimero vs Donaire, now it is real animosity between the two so lets go Donaire, if he disrespected you and the Mrs. outside of the ring...then what better way than to get him in the ring and humble him

what he lacks in technique he more than make up for with Determination he never stopped going after Rigo at least

He's funny and entertaining but not very skilled as everyone else has mentioned. He is on borrowed time until Inoue or Donaire decapitate him.

Dude can Crack for his weight. I'd love to see him against Naoya.

Naoya is obviously the much better boxer but Casimero has the power, speed and awkwardness that will make it interesting.

casimero will give inoue his first loss.. inoue is fighting bums.. his legit win is coming from an old washed donaire.. he went life and death with the flash.

Saw some clips and noticed that he keeps moving forward with his right down before punching. He keeps doing that Nonito will stop him with hooks

I'm leaning towards him against Donaire because of his age and the style matchup but I think Inoue busts him up good.
Did he? Because I seem to remember Donaire dropping Rigo, who was 32 at the time, instead of 40.
