I'm basing my thinking that he wins on his opposition. Ortiz has fought two different styles levels above anyone Ennis has fought thus far, face adversity and passed.

I like Ennis but everyone is anointing him without seeing him fight anyone that will fight back.

It doesn't matter who has the better resume. Just from their skill sets alone, I feel that ennis would beat vergil ortiz. I also feel that terence crawford will demolish vergil ortiz. Vergil has been mentioning crawford's name, but I see some hesitance and it looks like he was told to mention crawford's name to not look scared.

Nah bro Ennis embarrasses Vergil right now & I actually like Vergil. Ennis is too accurate & elusive, Vergil got hurt a few times by Mean Machine (who is about the same level at lipinets maybe a tiny bit better), Ennis dominated Lipinets, even uppercut him off the canvas for the KO.

I like Vergil and he is starting to get some scalps on his resume. But Ennis is probably too good for him, just based on the eye test.
