They will probably never fight. They will try to marinate it, but one of them will lose to some third guy and we will not care any more.

You guys actually expect top two American unbeaten welterweight prospects to fight each other soon????

I like Ennis but everyone is anointing him without seeing him fight anyone that will fight back.

You know what, I can't really argue against this. Its funny to me because I always get mad when people use the eye test with Crawford and yet my whole argument on why I think Ennis could beat Vergil is based on the eye test. Ill put it like this, if Ennis chin proves sturdy and he beats a guy like Ugas convincingly then I'd give him the edge over Ortiz because he's taller, longer reach, and has shown to have more tools. Ennis vs Ortiz kinda reminds me of Spence vs Crawford. Crawford has more tools than Spence yet its unknown how his chin will hold up in a fight against a top 5.

Boots has more skill. Ortiz needs to cook a little more and move to team Canelo.

Two things that boots does exceptionally well that Ortiz does not is head movement and foot work. Ennis also sets his shots up. Those three things puts Ennis way ahead.

I'm from Texas and like Virgil and I'm just being dead honest.

Boots looks to be special. More so than Vergil.

I could be wrong of course but that's just what I see.

I think Ortiz would beat Ennis. He is just a better fighter.

It is just another Crawford - Spence story. These guys are not even world champs yet. They will start conversations about fight when they will be in 30s.

I’d take lipinets over hooker. MM being a true WW is the best win for sure.

That kid is a very special talent.
Yo, Pacquiao stops Ennis right NOW and Ugas beats him...let alone Spence and Crawford beating him. Again he is a good talent but until he fights the 2nd level WW, let alone the top 3 WW...it is premature to say no WW has a chance.
