Ortiz performed as expected. Kava is just ur standard big strong front runner that get's tired after a few rounds..reminds me of Jeff Horn. I look at Ortiz kinda like Spence it's a matter of how long he can remain durable at 147 because these guy's should really be fighting at 154.

Looking at Ortiz's body he seems to still be filling out and I'm beginning to doubt he can stay a healthy 147 for long with the damage he been taking recently he's been dishing it out too though but that's besides the point.

People talking about Crawford next but I'd like to see more of a Danny Garcia, Thurman match up Crawford is a little more complex for Ortiz style than people like to give credit for. Crawford vs Porter is the proper fight.

You cannot possibly think that the MeanMachine is anything at all like Jeff Horn, seriously.

Good fight, went exactly as I thought it would. Crawford, Manny, Spence and Ennis all eat him up.

Sure I can. They are both big strong plodding welterweights that get tired in the mid rounds. From a style perspective their different but similar in the sense that they basically try to out will and out muscle their opponents.

Great showing from ortiz man, composed under fire and took his time and adapted. He needs someone at that half step between the elite and kava, Thurman, Garcia or Ugas would be great. Then I think he can beat em all. Need to see Ennis vs someone good too, then we see those 2 face off, which I think they will both be keen for.

Survives scare? That would at least be Ortiz not responding for more than 15 seconds or taking a knee of some sort. Vergil went into dog mode. Those attributes that will elevate him to become a good Champion.

Who has Benevidez beat of note even with 2 legs?

Ortiz Jr is strong but he's quite easy to figure out, and he takes some shots coming in.

The likes of Crawford, Pacquiao, Spence and Ennis would beat him comfortably. He just doesn't have the skill level of those guys.
