Fighting some 2-0 21 year old after almost losing to the 3-6 can they gave her for her debut.

    GWOAT indeed.

Holly Holm was 7-0 before she fought anybody halfway decent. You don't just walk into a new sport and instantly fight the best.

Just listen to yourself. Claressa is 1-0 but she isn't allowed to fight a 2-0 fighter?

She must be the GWOAT if she already has you as a dedicated hater after only one MMA bout.

Not sure why you're so against something that can potentially get boxing fans getting more into mma.

Why would a boxing fan want that?

Dont be disingenuous, shes an olympic medallist and world class pro in another combat sport that has plenty of transferability to MMA. They gave her a total can (someone Kayla Harrison, another fighter transitioning from a different combat sport, easily stopped in the first round in her debut) but she very nearly ****ed it up, so now they're giving her some chick that has practically as much MMA specific experience as she does, minus the elite skillset from another combat sport.

Henry Cejudo, an Olympic gold medalist, in his MMA debut fought someone that was 0-3....and followed that up by fighting someone that was 2-4 in his 2nd pro MMA fight. Matter of fact, he didn't fight anyone with a winning record until his 5th pro fight.

Sounds to me like you're just trying to hate on someone adapting to a completely new sport.

Checked out her opponent on youtube. Seems like a much better matchup than her first fight. She's more of a brawler.
