I've seen many comments lately that Pacquiao was looking really fierce in his final training so it scared off Spence. I scoured the internet to look for it, didn't find any sparring but I found this little clip.

Elie was asking about the rumor that pac dropped a sparring partner that day

The guy he was interviewing laughed

Then said no it was TWO
