Fighters train to be confident in their own set of skills, even the club fighters after a good training camp will have the confidence that they can beat a top professional fighter.

If you fought before or been around fighters you would already know this. A fighter gets excited at the thought of being in a tough fight and responds by training harder, which is most likely the cause of his injury. Spence know for doing hard sparring.

But carry on speculating BS based on your obvious misunderstanding of the culture of fighting and boxing.

you never had any problems when they were saying pac is scared and is ducking spence and crawford... change comes from the whole community... if you pick and choose then it will never stop and the cycle will continue on... wrong is wrong. but you only speak up when it's the other side doing it. how can you expect change with a mindset like that?

That slow porter just kept moving forward thinking whatever happens happens and Errol was lost. Admit it, he was shocked and was panicking. Now... What more a lefty (he's not used to that) whose twice or three time faster and more agile than Porter? I saw the tape of Errol's sparring, ridiculous.

Still pissed this fight won’t happen. Yeah, Pac should lose to a young skilled guy like Spence but it looked like Manny was coming with everything he has and was in the best condition he could get into at this stage in his career. He got UP for this fight and would have given Spence hell. He looked peak and ready. Questionable if he’ll be able to get to this level again as he continues to age.

I've seen many comments lately that Pacquiao was looking really fierce in his final training so it scared off Spence. I scoured the internet to look for it, didn't find any sparring but I found this little clip.

I would surely hope not!

Pacman wouldn’t have landed any of those shots ,he’s just staying in one spot shuffling his feet throwing short snappy shots without boxing gloves on . As much as I’d like Spence to get flattened he would just simply step back and not even be near those shots .
