It was also reported that Errol was off and taking a lot of punishment in the gym.

Yep, I saw the tape... His sparmate was this lefty and he was taking really bad punches, he couldn't move, he was too slow and he was lost. When i saw that, I knew hands down Manny will embarrass that Spence kid. There was a Thurman interview where he criticized that tape saying they shouldn't have shown that

The timing of this injury is suspect, but it appears he had emergency surgery to repair the retina. I suspect it may have been some lingering damage from his car accident along with an accumulation of punches. It doesn't matter now, the fight is off and we may never see Spence vs Pac. Even if we do it won't have the same energy behind it; Manny will be 43 and Spence will be considered damaged goods.

I don't mind fighters expressing their doubts or opinions, but Hopkins is the last guy I want to hear from. He fakes a shoulder injury in the Dawson fight and tries to get him DQ'd, does the same in the Calzaghe and Jones fights with his pathetic acting performance. Then wraps up his career by insisting he was pushed out of the ring by Smith, when it was clearly a punch that sent him through the ropes. F*** Hopkins. A dirty, boring fighter who couldn't draw flies.

There were rumors a couple weeks ago that Spence wasnt doing so well in sparring. I brushed it off because people make shhht up all the time.

Then maybe a week later a short clip got leaked of some unknown lefty getting the better of him in a sparring session. The clip was like 20 or 30 seconds so I didn’t take it for much.

Now here we are a week or two later and Spence has an eye injury & it’s all starting to make sense. Maybe the rumors were true? Maybe Spence wasn’t doing well in camp. If you’ve ever boxed before (pro or am) you’ll know that sometimes it happens. Sometimes you have a not so good camp, sometimes u get beat up in sparring, sometimes u get discouraged and then fight night comes and you fight your ass off.

I don’t believe Spence is faking his injury. I think that accident is gonna have long lasting effects on his body. You don’t survive something like that and just go back to being 100% normal. His body isn’t as durable as it was pre accident. I won’t be surprised if this is just the 1st of many injuries to come, should be continue to fight on

Yeah bhop was a faker too but on this one I think he's more alluding to promotional manipulations done by pbc being su****ious than spence's injury itself.

Since someone brought up covid and fury....I 100% believe it was due to poor sales.

With Spence... I do believe injury is real and he got it from his drunk driving accident and it was being covered up. I also think and what is shady, PBC knew and would not tell PAC until last moment.

Spence is too much of an investment for PBC and they need to milk the damaged goods for as long as they can.

Bernard Hopkins need to worry about what goes on at Golden Boy, not anyone else. He sure has his nerve talking about someone faking an injury, when he faked a dislocated shoulder, so Chad Dawson wouldn't punish him in their first fight. Then, he says Joe Smith pushed him out the ring, when he knocked him out with a punch.
