Anybody who believes in what Hopkins is saying is an idiot. Don't forget this is the same guy that couldn't continue his fight with Chad Dawson because he was crying over a fake shoulder injury that miraculously cured the next day when he's carrying his bag. Additionally, this is the same guy that fake-limped back to the locker room claiming complaining of a ankle injury after Joe Smith clearly knocked him out of the ring - and afterwards Hopkins is crying that he was pushed and that's what caused him to hurt his ankle. And to no surprise, no injury. B-Hop is a deserving HOF fighter, but he needs to stop being a hypocrite. Nobody is buying it.

I think when you're fighting at 45+ you get a pass.. Spence is what 30-31? Prime of his career fighting a 40+ year old light weight? Bruhh

You didn't factor in the Car accident. That's a lingering mental and physical injury..

Some have noticed even in the Fox build up show when Spence was being interviewed he was already slurring like a punch drunk kid or more like a punch drunk car accident with a brain injury. Those are factors that could have decided that he can't dance with Pacquiao. IF it was a lesser fighter, maybe he could.. But seeing Pac looking like a beast. I'm sure Spence thought, damn don't want this smoke. I might die in a ring..

That car accident plus the torn retina (if it is true) are an accumulation of incidents that made him feel unconfident to continue. What's sucky here is.. took him this long to announce it. Maybe he was torn.. but decided eventually it's not worth the risk of losing his eye site..

It's just so many things that's weird about this..

I mean they definitely knew before Manny (obviously) and Spence likely saw some doctors before ever announcing it to Mannys team we know thats a fact

So I'm certain in the meantime Ugas was made aware of the suspected injury and the likelihood Spence is out if confirmed and asked if he will be reserve

How long this all took is up for debate I would take a guess 2 weeks maximum? Either way advantage Ugas
