Absolutely! Mean Machine is the first real 147 lbs-top 10 guy for Ortiz ... Vergil has to win impressively if he wants the bigger fights.

Good fight. Kavaliauskas is a bit underrated IMO and he showed that in the Crawford fight, even dropping Crawford. Of course Ortiz is the favorite here for good reason, but it'll be an entertaining and competitive fight.

That's exactly it. Hooker was good test, but wasn't really a full-fledged WW and felt he really took that fight for the money. Kavaliauskas is a strong WW and hopefully he imposes that on Ortiz to see if the young man can handle that pressure. Hope he passes the test with flying colors bc he definitely has the all-around goods in and out of the ring to be a true superstar in the sport.

I think Vergil engages in a firefight and breaks down Mean Machine around round 6-7.

Virgil has to fight smart and pick his spots carefully. If he engages in a fire fight , he will be giving MM the best chance to win ..by a KO. Its that simple.

Bud is methodical like a butcher, he'll take his time, so how fast Ortiz might ko Kava is irrelevant. Bud was busy poking and prodding when he got dropped, that was comical, he got surgical after that. Ortiz has to do it, KO, and look clean when it's over. His poison has to work before he falls apart.

Mean machine must go at it in the early rounda to have a chance. He fades in the championship rounds. I got Virgil by TKO round 7.
