Venezuela's Maestre (4-0, 3KOs) was awarded a highly questionable twelve-round, unanimous decision verdict and the secondary belt at stake in their August 7 bout that aired live on Fox TV from The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

If they declared the title vacant, they should at least make it a NC. WBA really feeling the heat on this one to the point where they already planning on stripping Rigo before his fight. Wonder how they'll do Davis since he's one of Haymon's babies. Hope they force him to fight Taylor if he really plans on staying at 140 and they really wanna get rid of those BS belts.

Fox should not accept a rematch if offered one.....why give another sanctioning fee to those crooks?

Let's not forget LSC still holding a belt still which he has no intention of defending. Like you said though these Haymon boys are probably gonna be protected from this. I would expect Davis to vacate rather than face Taylor if they pressed the issue.

If it wasn't for the pressure from different sources the WBA wouldn't have done anything..Good thing they did, hopefully the Minnesota commission should follow & other commissions & organisms will do the same in these crazy decisions.
