How is this not common sense
So the fights had to be signed for you to realize that PBC don’t like to risk their champions/premier fighters in fights where the other guy can run with their belts to other networks? Pacquiao doesn’t look twice at Ugas without this situation. And it makes his most likely fight after this, still Spence. So what does Spence lose if Pacquiao wins and still fights him? And what does Spence lose if Haymon is making him promises? These guys don’t care about legacy, The biggest money fight at Welter besides Pacquiao has been Crawford and Spence hasn’t showed any care about that fight happening. He’s been happy fighting Porter/Danny and he’ll be happy fighting Ugas before moving up.

As a gambler, businessman or promoter it ain't worth the risk
now if this was years ago I would entertain y'all conspiracy theory since Spence would have been less experienced and Manny would have been younger.

If Manny lost to Ugas then retired, Ugas' stock rises. They'll make Spence-Ugas for the unification bout.

Either way, it's a win for them. They get the Manny fight and they'll get Spence-Manny or Spence-Ugas depending on how manny vs. Ugas goes.

      2 big fights>1 big fight

Now, I'm not really too sold on Spence faking the injury narrative but to say PBC doesn't benefit from this is kind of ignorant.

Let's first of all look into the mentality of a young professional fighter. Win or lose its your dream to have your name attached to a legend like Manny Pacquiao, why risk losing out on that opportunity unless you had a really good reason like a career ending injury. Let's also look at the mentality of a guy who just spent the last weeks in a grueling training camp. I've literally seen fighters cry realizing they trained for nothing and can't fight. Training camp literally is writing a check, and fighting is cashing it. This ain't just about him and his pride, this effects his pockets family and city.

Another example of people who never fought, never been in gyms or really around fighters spewing BS.

How does getting ktfo by a 43 yr old benefit Spence in any way?

Anyways, Spence will be back on track after he defeats Ugas next year after Ugas won a controversial split decision over the great Manny Pacquiao.

This PBC duck is certainly su****ious. WBA stripping Manny and giving it to Ugas. To make the planned fight interesting?.At least a storyline?
Hardly any promotion from Spence’s side. Because he wasn’t really training? Nothing much to show?
Even thought it's hard for Spence's fans to accept, this is highly su****ious. I comment in a Youtube video a couple of days ago, that I was looking at Pacquiao engaged and looking in tip top shape why I was looking at Spence sad. I will try to find the comment with the date and post it here.

I suspect that maybe others people beside me, where starting to feel that Pacquiao was going to shock Spence and the whole world on August 21th

I figured Spence would win fairly easy but I’m not privy to what’s going on in Spence’s camp. I’m not saying that’s what happened but if things, for whatever reason, we’re not going well, I could see them bailing out.

I hope that isn’t what happened but stranger things…

Who would fake getting an eye injury?

Having someone operate on your eye is scary as hell.
