Don't bother with these people. Everything is a conspiracy around here nowadays. It makes absolutely no sense for Spence to lie about a retinal tear of all things. Even being associated with that kinda thing as a boxer puts a huge question mark over your career. No way would he lie about that.

Well I would agree with that......unless of course there's a comparable big fight out there for him.....like Spence vs Crawford?
ding ding ding! I hit the jackpot!

      Donaire did the same sh@t
Why bother going through Casimero when the Inoue fight is waiting for him?
Why bother fighting Pacquiao when the Crawford fight is waiting for him?

It benefits PBC because their top guy remains undefeated and stays marketable. Isn’t that EXTREMELY OBVIOUS?

They probably thought Thurman would get it done against Pacquiao like many here did. That Broner was useful in ****ing up the fight but in no way showed Pacquiao would be a threat to Thurman. PBC gets the torch.

But Thurman got dropped and clearly lost. But one judge stayed with the script and somehow saw a Thurman win.

Now Pacquiao is said to be even better in training now than he was for Thurman. You don’t need to believe what people say. You can see it yourself on youtube unless your biases are so strong to have made you blind.

I'm not buying it though. Injuries can happen anytime and I would give Errol Spence the benefit of the doubt.

It just sucks that the biggest fight this year got cancelled so its hard to blame the fans.
PAC is getting older every year, he already just had a layoff, why take the chance of Manny retiring or losing to Ugas.... Who is high risk low reward for anyone.

As a gambler, businessman or promoter it ain't worth the risk
now if this was years ago I would entertain y'all conspiracy theory since Spence would have been less experienced and Manny would have been younger.

How did Ortiz and Wilder turning down Joshua benefit them? How Gervonta Davis and Jermall Charlo turning down Farmer and Andrade benefit them? Pacquiao is barely PBC. And he’s been saying 2 fights max, if that. So he has 1 fight after Ugas. This ages him and lowers the odds of him carrying the belts outside. The WBA is the PBC belt. Their rankings are 90% comprised of PBC fighters. If Pacquiao vacates that belt, it’ll be PBC fighters fighting for it. If Ugas wins it’s two puppets Haymon has that he doesn’t have to worry about running away.

If what some theorize is true and the “premier” champs have stock on PBC, it’s also to their benefit to do things that favor their company. And you don’t know what promises Haymon is making in the background, he is known for giving “gifts” to his fighters, money, cars, houses etc.

So I can think up a few reasons. But I’m passed it now. PBC is like Billy Joe Saunder’s the company, consistently proving to me that they are a waste of time and energy.

To be honest, Ugas is a high risk low reward. Of course Spence didnt fake the injury but you got to admit its kind of odd. Maidana injured, Spence injured and we now have Ugas vs Pacquiao for the belt Manny had. Spence must be pissed.

They wasn't signed to fight anyone, business got in the way. They didn't pull out a fight.

How is this not common sense

It's about as odd as When Canelo kept having bad luck when Paul Williams got into a wreck, then Ortiz being knocked out.

It's boxing.... We have seen worst odd things.

But this odd thing happened less than 24 hours ago, and look at everyone??

People hate for PBC is pathetic.... Like damn can y'all wait to accuse him of faking an injury when the truth will eventually come out

You can't fake surgery. But knowing these weirdos they will make that claim also when they move the goal post
