I think there is real damage but maybe they played it out to see how it would hold up and it's not. All my tickets always say "card subject to change" but I get it. Ppl paying for $10k+ plus seats, etc. Could be a messy and lengthy lawsuit so just refund.

Also makes sense to keep Pac happy by making sure he gets paid for all the training, etc.

I'm sure flying his entire crew out here and all the expenses ain't cheap. So no one loses.

"card subject to change" is a common disclosure, but most commissions still require you to offer refunds if the main event or the co-feature are cancelled or changed. Undercard changes dont matter though......

I guess in the end Haymon decided it was too risky to put Spence in there with Pacquiao. He has to think long term, he can’t have Spence losing at this stage in his career.
