Does UGAS step in and get any ppv $$$?

Lololololol
FYI
Al Haymon lways uses a Promoter for his events hence Insurance is always an option

No clue. Obviously he renegotiated the money with Pac, as an Ugas fight doesnt sell anywhere near what the Spence fight would have. And as a promoter you are also required to offer ticket refunds to those who ask for it in a significant lineup change like this. But its pretty close to the event, so people would have already booked flights and made hotel reservations, so refund requests will probably be minimal.
Even if Haymon were to take a small loss on the event, it makes sense to go forward because all the other fighters still get to fight, and he may have gotten a commitment from Pac to reschedule the Spence fight in exchange for providing Ugas.
Who knows? lolLast edited by OnePunch; 08-10-2021, 08:08 PM.

Thank God Crawford fight didn't happen . He would have claimed he was blind. Crawford would have annihilated him.

He doesnt know what he is talking about. Tom Brown absolutely would have retained cancellation insurance, as he is the "promoter" of record.
NOBODY schedules an event of this magnitude without the proper insurance. Even some club show promoters buy it, so to think they dont have it on an event like this is absurdgreeneye99 likes this.

All my tickets always say "card subject to change" but I get it. Ppl paying for $10k+ plus seats, etc. Could be a messy and lengthy lawsuit so just refund.
Also makes sense to keep Pac happy by making sure he gets paid for all the training, etc.
I'm sure flying his entire crew out here and all the expenses ain't cheap. So no one loses.
Thanks!
