Wilder never has to concern himself with rounds... He found Fury a few times already, is at his best, psychologically, physically... All he has to do is catch Fury once.

My head goes with Fury but I would hate to fight a pure ambush puncher like Wilder... I mean for 12 rounds, every second of every round you have to be careful. Its a real game of concentration. Meanwhile wilder does not have to concern himself with anything... he can be losing every round and it does not matter. He just has to connect properly once.
He might be at his best physically, but psychologically he's pretty much BROKEN and was before the second fight started.

He knows that Fury can get up from that right hand - twice - without a wobble and after the last round of the first fight and the entire second fight he knows that Fury can hurt him. Badly.

The best example to show his current state of mind - apart from that single press conference - is 10 minutes and 42 seconds into the exclusive interview he did with Mo Boxing a couple of months ago:

    https://********/FG-Gr6NkPV4&t=642s

At 10 minutes and 42 seconds he comes out with his usual I only have to be perfect for 2 seconds schpiel with that big fake smile on his face, then the interviewer mentions Fury saying that he owns his soul after the second fight. Wilder's face drops, you can see the fear in his eyes and he starts stuttering and stammering like Foghorn Leghorn on speed. It takes him over a minute to recover from that.

You can't completely write off a fighter like Wilder because of that right hand, he'll always have a puncher's chance against ANYBODY, but psychologically he isn't in the right state of mind to be going into the ring. He's terrified of Fury.

wilder probably sick of fighting fury at this stage, fury is his speedbump

i do think covid has messed up a lot of these big fights, everyone wants to preform in front of a full house and get max pay with no worry about testing etc

The other side of the coin is, he knows he can drop Fury. As far as his state of mind? I don't see him as a broken fighter... Lacy for example, after Calzighe was broken... Wilder may be deluded but human nature being what it is... sometimes being deluded is an attribute.

          2) my trainer wasn't loyal
          3) somebody did voodoo on me
          4) Fury took the padding out of his gloves
          5) my water got spiked
          6) my legs was weak
          7) the ref was against me
          8) i had a dent in my skull
          9) Fury had loaded gloves
          10) Fury was punching with the heel of his hand
          11) Ricky Hatton did some funny **** with the gloves
          12) It felt like egg weights was cracking my dome piece open
          13) fight was stopped too early
          14) i thought my brains was leaking out of my ears, but it was just blood
          15) Andre Dirrell had something to do with it
          16) I hurt my bicep
          17) Fury had oil all over his body
          18) it's a lot of snakes in the grass
          19) Breland was on the other side of the street
          20) my girl's head game made me weak as hell
          21) I had an autopsy

When u lose again, just be a real man and say u couldn't duck the damned punches, and be done with it
          No No No!!!!

          1) actually someone did voodoo on the costume and made it heavy, and my trainer never liked that costume! Fury took that padding and put it in the costume which, along with the voodoo and disloyal trainer REALLY made that costume heavy!!! My legs got weak because... damn that costume was heavy!! That ref DIDN'T like Black People's day costumes so he and my trainer had the same voodoo person spike my water. That damn mask on the costume!!!dented my skull. Fury was loaded... had at least two a r s es that fight!!!
          2) Ricky and Tyson put something in his gloves... a piece of that DAMN Costume!!!! I had to look at a big Gypsy with oil on him...Made mybrains leak it was so gross.

So really its just two excuses!!!

Watch that video again and pay close attention to his eyes. That's fear in those eyes. All of this bravado is a front. He's terrified of Fury. He doesn't believe that he can knock him out, Fury walked through a couple of decent right hands from Wilder early on during the second fight. Fury just shrugged them off. He also knows now that Fury can seriously hurt him. Despite that towel coming in from Breland the ref was about to stop the fight anyway and he knows it.

Wilder was ****ed in that last round, he was getting battered like a fish on Friday and wasn't throwing anything back and his equilibrium was shot to pieces. And he knows it.

Reading body language can tell you A LOT about people, especially sports men and women. At the end of the day, unless you REALLY know what you're doing and are VERY disciplined the body can't lie. This is why law enforcement around the world invest in body language experts.

Win or lose Wilder will be finished as a fighter and will likely retire.
