Comments Thread For: Fury Trainer: Wilder Has A lot To Prove, He's Going To Be Motivated

Andy Lee, the assistant trainer to WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, expects a very dangerous opponent when his boxer faces Deontay Wilder for a trilogy fight. Their bout was initially scheduled for July 24, but the entire event was pushed back after Fury contracted COVID-19.

Only thing Wilder is gonna prove is that he is still the same one-trick pony he has been his entire career. Can't teach an old dog new tricks. Especially if that dog thinks he's a god above men. Like him or not, Fury is a master boxer, and as long as he avoids that right hand, this will be another total domination just like the first two fights.

He does. And he likely will be motivated. But he’s not going to win unless he lands a haymaker and puts Fury asleep. The 19 rounds says Fury schools him in boxing

To me, all Wilder has to prove is that he can wear his asswhipping like a man without making any of the following excuses:
        1) costume was too heavy
        2) my trainer wasn't loyal
        3) somebody did voodoo on me
        4) Fury took the padding out of his gloves
        5) my water got spiked
        6) my legs was weak
        7) the ref was against me
        8) i had a dent in my skull
        9) Fury had loaded gloves
        10) Fury was punching with the heel of his hand
        11) Ricky Hatton did some funny **** with the gloves
        12) It felt like egg weights was cracking my dome piece open
        13) fight was stopped too early
        14) i thought my brains was leaking out of my ears, but it was just blood
        15) Andre Dirrell had something to do with it
        16) I hurt my bicep
        17) Fury had oil all over his body
        18) it's a lot of snakes in the grass
        19) Breland was on the other side of the street
        20) my girl's head game made me weak as hell
        21) I had an autopsy

When u lose again, just be a real man and say u couldn't duck the damned punches, and be done with it

Wilder does have a lot to prove. But shouldn't Fury have to prove he actually had Covid too? Nahhh, that makes too much sense...

My money will be on Wilder this time around.
First time they fought just about everyone slept on Fury and he proved a lot of people wrong including me. By the way I thought Fury won the first fight.
This time around , the exact opposite is happening. Wilder is being slept on . Anyone who thinks we are going to see a repeat of the second fight is in for a rude awakening.

I agree, I also think Pac will upset Spence, maybe even a TKO by the 9th rd.

I’m a huge pac fan and would like to see him win , and I do think he will do good in the first couple of rounds however Spence is relentless , applies a lot of pressure and is good at cutting off the ring. That along with the height and reach leads me to believe Spence by decision or late tko/ko.
