AJ is unquestionably a star but Perhaps you’re wrong on this.
Aj has sold 90k against Wlad and 70 plots against parker and povetkin so he’s surpassed that canelo number multiple times

Ok I would argue the 1st fight wasn’t all him but wlad also. The Parker number yes.

You didn’t address that Canelo was paid significantly more by DAZN.

AJ is attached to Match Room who signed him for over 100 million in 2018 and whatever Dazn pays him .

It’s harder to get higher profile fights in heavy weight division so again what’s your point here ? Canelo fought more popular guys who have been around but no way the more formidable.

You also sneakily left out the Canelo contract of Dazn was for 11 fights , that is not getting more money that is money due over time ,he didn’t even get much bc he abandoned the contract and got off the Dazn multi deal and went on a fight by fight basis . AJ only makes certain amount of fights per yr in his contract which is far more money ,if he signed an 11 fight deal it would be staggering amount .,

Your the guy that talks numbers then cries numbers dont matter but when handed facts you cry about them ? It’s why you jumped on the thread in the first place ,you didn’t like facts on it so you had an idiotic response to it . Ha

I simply pointed out what Canelo did. I didn’t post or imply numbers don’t matter so I’m not sure why you posted that.

Where did I dispute any fact that was posted? I saw the opinion that AJ is the biggest star in the sport and I countered by saying don’t forget Canelo.

          Stop the incessant slurping please.

Aj pay for the Ruiz rematch is bigger than any single Canelo Pay day.

Money? ****ing hell all of us know there was boats worth of money to be won.

So why though? Why **** around with Joshua just to delay Wilder? If he thought he'd lose I imagine the best move would have been fast tracking to Joshua and just accepting as much as he can get quickly. If he thought he'd do what he says and just walk through Deontay why delay that? He could have already beaten Wilder and fought Joshua by now. Instead he delayed, broke contract, bugged Joshua just to delay those negotiations, then got forced back into a fight with Wilder, which he delayed again. Why? I honestly don't get it. I don't think money, wins or losses, or anything normal is the answer because it just doesn't make sense. Could have already had all that done.
It looks to me like the Fury clan never thought the fight with AJ would materialize, So Fury was "up" for Wilder. When Hearns claimed the fight was a done deal, I think fury got his hopes up. Then the Arbitration hearing...I think at this point Fury couldn't get it up to fight Wilder and his father, seeing that Tyson was going off the rails... had a sit down with him.

Dad probably did what any father would do: "Son, your not training, you can't "just" breeze by Wilder to get the AJ fight. At this point? it was either divine provinance and Covid came to be, or it was in some way exxagerated, or even made up entirely... giving Fury a chance to accept that he has a fight with Wilder and that wilder is very motivated to beat him.

Im guessing that fury might have been able to make the case that people in his party having Covid was enough to postpone...I don't know...lol. Thats where I am with this for now.

Team Wilder never had step aside offers , that’s not a notion they wanted the fight . Now go ahead with some lame reply back we know it’s coming where then I’ll I have to explain how proceedings to attempt to get a fight made is usually done . Ha
