I created the thread to genuinely find out th3 numbers that were sold and the time rate which they were . Yes it’s definitely a big fight ,I don’t think Usyk has a very chance tbh I think AJ will win around 6 or 7 rounds . I think the first 3 will be explosive though even if Usyk is a slow starter . I think AJ will go right after him .
people don’t realise AJ is very athletic and he has quick hands.......he is explosive and has many ways to land a punch , good on the inside and hurt you with either hand....Joshua knows he needs to get to usyk early and soften him up and like you I see Joshua taking over after mid stage and stopping him around the 9th.....Joshua can really hurt usyk if he connects cleanly and usyk no matter what his pedigree is will not stand up to a full Joshua onslaught......Joshua knows his advantages in this fight and will use them and I think usyk will have the fear of god in him with 65k fans baying for his blood in that ring

Imagine the numbers Fury vs AJ would have done ,they better hope another pandemic dies not break out that’s what greed does ,it’s always been a killer in boxing and I’m actually starting to believe Wilder could win this when I thought it would never happen with Furys actions and Wilders shocking training footage . Though I’m still picking Fury .
Honestly, I don't know how much I believe it but I'm starting to suspect Fury doesn't like to fight. It's crazy to say he used the most money making HW in boxing as a means to delay the Wilder fight. It's even crazier given undisputed and the historical significance of having both be from the UK. Money? ****ing hell all of us know there was boats worth of money to be won.

So why though? Why **** around with Joshua just to delay Wilder? If he thought he'd lose I imagine the best move would have been fast tracking to Joshua and just accepting as much as he can get quickly. If he thought he'd do what he says and just walk through Deontay why delay that? He could have already beaten Wilder and fought Joshua by now. Instead he delayed, broke contract, bugged Joshua just to delay those negotiations, then got forced back into a fight with Wilder, which he delayed again. Why? I honestly don't get it. I don't think money, wins or losses, or anything normal is the answer because it just doesn't make sense. Could have already had all that done.

So that is the numbers 65 K ? That’s crazy . Surely the Fury vs AJ fight will do more then that if you guys had a bigger stadium ? Would Wembley be the target if that’s 50 K ?

So Eddie sells them cheaper than people are prepared to pay, just so he can then resell them ten times working up towards the prices people are prepared to pay?

Interesting business model. 10 times the effort for the same revenue.

Not exactly a masterplan is it?

now there is no limit on sport venues and if all stays the same as now...Wembley would be 90k as it was for the klitchcko fight with AJ ...the fury fight would sell double that if there was a big enough venue...it’s a huge event in the uk no doubt about that fella

Who is my boy? You surely can’t be referring to Wilder. When have I ever supported him?

This fight sold out yesterday night. Less than 24 hours. No fake Covid or bad ticket sales to push the fight back. No arbitration to force the fight. Just 2 champions ready to get it on with no excuses. As it should be. But I am sure that Fury and Wilder fans will try to turn that all around and say it is something else. Good luck with that. Also good luck with the trilogy fight because I still think Fury will pull out again.

Just for clarity, AJ/Usyk sold 65k tickets. I believe Canelo’s last fight sold about 66k tickets.

I also believe DAZN was paying canelo more than they paid AJ. Canelo had also been in higher profile fights than AJ.

AJ is unquestionably a star but Perhaps you’re wrong on this.
