Hunter said Hearn called Triller when he heard they might bid on the fight to work something out. Hunter is now promoted by Triller.

These quotes are taken from an interview Hunter did with Chris Mannix last week, who works for DAZN.

Zero push back at Hunter's claims during the interview, and Mannix lives to argue.

I don’t believe a single word that Hunter said here, why? Because Hearn or Triller had zero reason to communicate. No one was interested in Hunter, so I doubt anyone would ring Triller NOT to bid. Not sure I'd categorize Bob as "apparently" warning Matchroom not to bid, he did it publicly.

In this case its Hunter claiming it with no verification and it makes little sense, even assuming it did happen, why wouldn't Hunter lay the blame on Triller for not bidding, its not like Matchroom and Triller are working together on other fights are they?

You have to admit, it looks like Hunter swerved the fight and is trying to come up with a story to justify it.

You'll have to ask Hearn and Triller what exactly transpired between them, but the most logical answer is overpaying by an insane amount for a fight that draws $0 and doesn't strategically help Triller would be bad for all three of them (Triller, Sauerland, Matchroom) so they came to some agreement.

There always has to be a good guy and a bad guy, a ducker, a liar, an unhinged individual...

Hunter has zero credibility you cannot believe a word that comes out of his mouth. The facts are he calls out everyone but fights nobody’s and his cowardice in running from Hrgovic is truly embarrassing.

I wouldn't say he's fought nobody's, dude has fought: Usyk, Kuzmin, Bakole, Povetkin and went 2-1-1 in those. His last two opponents aren't much to speak of but his resume is better than the majority of HWs out there. I typically don't buy the idea fighters are afraid of other fighters. It usually comes down to an economical risk assessment. Is it worth it to fight a certain guy at a certain price? Especially so for a fighter who is not the promotional favorite but also isn't a journeyman willing to catch a loss for a price; the deck will be stacked against you to have a fair shake at winning. Hunter deemed the Hrgovic fight to not be worth it for whatever reason.

Oh yeah one million per cent hunter ducked. I don’t even want to try dis*****g that. And I’m not saying I believe Eddie stopped triller. I just mean that certain posters, a word is enough for them to believe, so I just wanted to see that same energy in these comments, but they didn’t come because the posters I mention are casual clueless fans.

You don’t care now because I pointed out Bakole doesn’t want the fight . I didn’t mention anything about the IBF needing to order an opponent, obviously they do . You did suggest he isn’t the boogeyman which is also logically against you ,several guys declined Hrgovic wheather the IBF ordered him a mandatory or not doesn’t change that no one is volunteering to fight him at a chance to get AJ .

Yes i remember Kalle calling out Hunter for going quiet. I just found his excuses here laughable, he made a business decision which is cool, but don't try and dress it up like they wanted to stick you up, you called for the Hrgovic fight and claim they didn't want it, after you then had offer via the purse bid you then disappeared and re-emerge with Triller but fighting Wilson, then you tried to dress it up as Hearn ringing Triller not to participate in a purse bid for that fight. I mean if Triller really want you then they would bid on the fight. There was no need for any communication between Triller and Hearn. I see a lot of posters are NOT capable of using logic when boxers/managers/promoters are saying something. I can and i couldn't care less which side you think am sitting on, i would listen to use logic in every instance.
