What better options realistically? I know the best names in the division but who was really in the frame for a Loma fight?

Also when you compare those 2 opponents to the opposition of the other big names in the division so far in 2021 how much worse is it?

Well, he was just coming off a lose to Teo which was super close fight. Fact is Teo wasn’t going to grant him a rematch and prolly never will.

Nakatani and Commey are proven veterans.

Even coming off a super close lose to Teo, Tank wasn’t going to fight him.

In your opinion who should he have fought instead because I have no issue with him fighting Natakani or Commey.

Yeah, but Canelo then fought Billy Joe Saunders and tried for Caleb Plant. And might end up fighting Bivol.

Just a wee bit of difference there.

BJS was an undefeated world champion.

I don't begrudge Lomachenko one showcase fight coming of his loss to Teofimo. But two in a row?

Comney is a former champion, and is ranked 5 by TBRB. Nakatani was also ranked going into the fight, and had just stopped Verdejo. You're acting like he fought two unranked journeymen coming off of losses.

And it's not like any of the "names" at 135 are lining up to fight him. Is Garcia even fighting still? Or is he still sad?
