He just sounds like he wants to cash out with a fight against Spence. If he really thinks he has what it takes to beat Spence then, like others have said, he should try and fight Ugas first, get his belt, and then bring Spence to the table with the belt as his bargaining chip.

Well, I just read that Ugas is fighting Fabian Maidana (Marcos' younger brother) and Jamal James is fighting Radzhab Butaev, both on the Spence vs. Pacquiao under card! We already know Porter is fighting Crawford, Stanionis is fighting Luis Collazo, and Ortiz is fighting "Mean Machine," so what is Thurman gonna do in 2021? The only viable opponents for him @ 147 are Mikey Garcia, Kudratillo Abduqaxorov, and Boots Ennis! Do we really expect him to fight one of them?
