I won’t lie, if I wasn’t from the UK, I probably wouldn’t care anywhere near as much as I do either. Aside from the big fights anyway.

I love the fact that we show low level domestic fights on TV though. I’ll watch any level of boxing as long as it’s competitive. MTK consistently produce the best cards in the UK from that perspective. Too many mismatches on Matchroom and Warren cards for my liking.

The main commentator, I don't know his name, whilst technically good, doesn't have the voice for it. No drive, no passion. Say what you want about Adam Smith, but he brings excitement to his commentary, something that was sorely lacking with the passionless commentator yesterday.

Andy Lee, knowledgeable guy, though a bizarre scorecard for the final fight, but he could put a glass eye to sleep. No personality at all. Not suited to the role. Laura Woods, pure composure, grace, and class. A natural in any sports setting. The fight's, not high level, but competitive, decent card, though Benn was a miss. Nash out.
Agree with you on needing a third person. Hopefully going forward that will happen.

The main commentator will be replaced by Mike Costello at some point. I do like the current geezer though.

Yeah, I know Costello is coming and he is brilliant. The best. He was fine, but just not for me. I need a passionate commentator to heighten the fight. He didn't have that for me and I just stopped even noticing he was commentating, which is not the sign of a great commentator. A great commentator enhances things, brings a mood and atmosphere to the fight. He was passionless, with no enthusiasm. Adam Smith might have been biased, etc, but he is full of passion and has a voice that can really draw you into the fight.

I'm not against Maya, I totally understand why they brought her in and I think that she can bring something long-term, but never in a two-person setup like last night. She can't debate with Bellew. It's just always going to be Bellew being nice to her, Maya this, Maya that. It needs someone else to debate. Like if you watch football, Roy Keane is there to debate and argue over things, it's entertaining to watch. It's just a bit too nice, especially for a fighting sport. Nash out.

I love as much boxing as I can watch. UK, Italian, Spanish, Mexican and American. I'd rather see 50/50 matchups with regional level fighters than showcase fights where an A level fighter is going against a D level guy to make him/her look good. I like Fight Camp, ShoBox and Ring City for these reasons...

Boxing is entertainment and Maya brought that imo. Not just another boring event. I like her energy I like her looks. Laura too!

I like the mix of boxing brains and TV personalities.

            Synergy and all that jazz
I want the presenters to be knowledgable on the sport.

To be fair, not many people outside of America are going to be paying much attention to random Top Rank and PBC cards either. Boxing is a very regional sport these days for the most part.
