Scrappy fight, it was hard to see just what was going on at times. He was head heavy though.

Two cuts going into a fight with Jalolov is certainly less than ideal.

You know that when you punctuate it like that, it makes it sound like you haven't watched any of the boxing – was that the intention?

Have you not watched the BBC Olympic highlights? They don't usually show the whole fight, but they'll show the full second round in which all this kicked off.

If not, then yeah, getting footage of the fights is really hard, man.

Ref seen the Blood and completely overreacted I guess, Yes he was warned to watch his head true but Point Deduct 1st then warn him One More Time And THEN You Will get DQ. Not sure the Ref did that, instead he seen Clarke bleeding and called DQ

I caught some of the highlights on the Australian broadcast and looked like he was leading with his head a lot, even after being warned, not sure if it was an overreaction or not from the ref but it didn't look egregious.

I know two things for certain, its a terrible look for Mourad Aliev, and the broadcast of the Olympics (in Australia at least) has been shocking, its 2021 why you can't go to the broadcasters website or app and view all events, filtered by sport etc is unforgivable. Instead of spending all that effort making sure its not on YouTube, spend some effort making it actually available.

Unfortunately based in Australia. Coverage is pathetic as noted by the above poster.

We have an app showing everything. But you can't replay anything.

I was out coachng soccer when the fight was on... so missed it.

Note: I have not watched all the fights, only commenting on what I have seen. Maybe this is due to rule changes, forcing fighters to fight another way.

Removing headgear and allowing pros to fight has definitely impacted the overall style of the bouts. There's definitely been a lot more fouling and dirty fighting than in games of recent past, in my opinion.

Is there no way of getting around the BBC Iplayer online by using a VPN?

The coverage is the same over here as well. A lot of the sport is behind a pay wall for the first time for us with Discovery +. The BBC only has rights to a certain amount. Eurosport covers most of it which is the same company as Discovery +, but even then a lot we can't see. A lot of people over here aren't happy in the slightest. You can't get Eurosport on Freeview, you need sky or ****** to get it. The rights should never have been allowed to be sold to them. But greed wins in the end as usual. Doesn't do sport any good in the long run.

I think David Haye & Wladimir Kiltschko were against the introduction of the professionals 'I personally don't think it is quite right'.

It was just when I watched some of the boxing the other day 'The action I saw, looked similar to a domestic level boxing match'.

I see they have also changed the scoring system as well.

It was my intention, but? I was not all that bothered whether it was clear 'Just in general, I was just posting to make a post'. I am still bothered by this layout a bit.

I have not watched much of the boxing, but what I have saw has been below par.

I most likely won't watch anymore of the boxing at these Olympics.
